Impact First Summit 2022

From May 25-26, 2022, the Impact First Summit will convene in Lisbon, Portugal.

Impact First aims to create a space for technologists, global development experts, private sector entrepreneurs and global development funders where together we explore the possibilities of achieving impact through technology and data innovations.

By showcasing not only cutting edge technologies but tried and true approaches, we want to see how and where scale and impact has been achieved within a variety of development sectors. We believe that technical approaches should not be applied to individual sectors and by understanding the broad application of technologies across agriculture, health, education, governance and environmental sectors, we can make meaningful gains.

Data is central to this discussion, be it big, open, real-time or consumer based. The rapidly changing data landscape means that we have more information, evidence and insight than ever before. Yet harnessing the power of data still remains within reach for many developing countries. We will explore how infrastructure, interoperability, accessibility and data science are critical parts of this discussion.

The 2022 Impact First Summit will connect implementers, government stakeholders, digital health technologists, researchers, donors, and field experts from across the globe and a variety of different sectors. The Summit program will include panel discussions, lightning talks, plenary and breakout sessions, exhibitor tables and networking opportunities.
