Pascal Mwele is the Chief of Party of the Kenya Health Management Information System (HMIS) II project funded by the U.S. Centre for Disease Control in Kenya to develop and maintain health information system innovations, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems and the national HIV data warehouse. Mwele possesses broad experience in technology project design and has held leadership positions in many sectors. He currently leads a project transformation initiative that focuses on innovative application of lean management philosophies through DevOps and Scrum, using user-centered design to develop a UX-centered practice, establish the foundations of a data science practice, and implement scalable microservice architectures.
